Digital giclée reproduction print from analogue direct positive paper original, made with a 1930s quarter-plate camera.
The double-exposure effect was created in-camera.
"Direct positive paper" produces an analogue image without a negative stage, meaning that each original print is one of a kind. In order to make these images available as affordable prints, I have made digital reproductions from scans of the original prints.
Model: Brooke Eva
Although this is a digital reproduction the original was made with an analogue process, and as such is subject to imperfections resulting from analogue processes. These perceived "flaws" can include (but are not limited to) the shadows of dust on the print, "soft edges" of the image, slight indents in the corners of prints from being pegged up to dry and so on.
